YogaRhythm offers classes with the goal to provide students with the tools to renew and regenerate the mind and body by reducing and removing harmful patterns which can lead to decreased functioning of the body's processes and disrupt the mind/body relationship. A regular yoga practice will restore the body's functioning and processes and enhance clarity by bringing about balance to the mind and body.  These results can improve physical and mental (anxiety) conditions over a lifetime and lead to a healthier, happier and more productive life on all levels.  All students are encouraged to work at their own pace to reap the optimal benefits.

Class Offerings

Stress Relief Yoga
Description: Retrain the body and mind by combining yoga poses (asanas) and diaphragmatic breathing to reduce tension throughout the body.  Also includes deep relaxation and guided imagery. Benefits include reduced levels of cortisol (stress hormone), increased circulation throughout the body and an acute sense of wellbeing and calm.  

Yoga for the Back
Description: Class focus is to loosen and increase flexibility throughout the hamstrings, hips and shoulders thereby opening and increasing circulation to the lower back area. Benefits include reduced tension in the back area, enhanced flexibility and posture.

Chakra Yoga
Description: This class focuses on the chakras (energy centers) of the body to bring about balance to each and enhance the natural energy flow within the body.  Benefits include enhanced concentration and focus, increased energy and enhanced sleep patterns.

Yoga for Strength and Flexibility
Description: This class works with the major muscle groups in the body to increase flexibility and build strength. Class combines exercises to build focus and concentration and an awareness of diaphragmatic breathing. Benefits includes overall toning, improved posture, healthier joints and enhanced self confidence and awareness. 

Yoga for the Heart
Description: This class focuses on the heart chakra with an emphasis to open this area and reduce associated tension.  Exercises focus on breathing and yoga poses (asanas) which improve circulation and flexibility.  Benefits included improvements to associated conditions such as high blood pressure and restoring the heart and mind connection.
